It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our colleague and friend , Derek Barker.

Derek was a highly respected colleague, friend, and professional whose kindness, wisdom, and dedication touched the lives of many people both within our firm and throughout the wider community. He brought warmth, integrity, and professionalism to everything he did and will be remembered not only for his work but for the genuine care and support he showed to those around him.

Derek’s loss will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside him. His contribution to the firm and the lasting impact he made on clients, colleagues, and friends will not be forgotten.

At this difficult time, our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with Derek’s wife Jeanie McCaw , family, and loved ones as they navigate this profound loss.
