GIVING BACK

At Austin & Carnley, we believe a law firm should do more than practise law.
Every time you instruct us, you become part of something bigger — from fighting
hunger across the world, to planting trees in Bedfordshire, to supporting the
families right on our doorstep in Leighton Buzzard. Here's what we're doing,
and how you're helping us do it.

To the global community...

work for good

We donate regularly to The Hunger Project through their Small Business Star campaign, because no one deserves to live in poverty or go hungry.

The Hunger Project's mission is ambitious but achievable: to end world hunger by 2030. The numbers speak for themselves, just £42 can save a child from malnutrition.

Our donations directly help towards saving children's lives. Every client who chooses Austin & Carnley is part of making that happen.

The Hunger Project

To bereaved children...

Austin & Carnley are proud to support Harry's Rainbow, a wonderful local charity that supports children, young people, and young adults aged 0–25 who have been bereaved of a parent or sibling.

They serve families across Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas, including right here in Leighton Buzzard.

Harry's Rainbow provides memory boxes, therapeutic mentoring, support groups, activities, trips, and individually tailored support, all completely free of charge to the families who need it most.

As a firm that helps families plan for the future through wills and estate planning, their work is close to our hearts.

Here's how you can help: if you instruct Austin & Carnley to write your will and choose to include Harry's Rainbow as a beneficiary, we will make a donation to the charity on your behalf. A small act in your will can make a profound difference to a bereaved child in our community.

To the environment...

Austin & Carnley is proud to be a Corporate Partner with Marston Vale Forest,  one of the UK's most ambitious community forest projects, right here in Bedfordshire.

We visited the Forest Centre and were inspired by how Midas achieved 100% carbon neutrality, and came away more committed than ever to doing our bit.

We pledged to plant 200 trees as part of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee tree planting programme, and our team rolled up their sleeves and got it done near Houghton House in February and March.

As a client of Austin & Carnley, you are having a direct, positive impact on our local environment. As David Attenborough says, "Let's rewrite the story."

To the local community...

Right here in Leighton Buzzard, Austin & Carnley are proud to support Leighton Linslade Helpers, a brilliant local organisation providing vital services to those who need them most.

Their work includes food parcels, prescription deliveries, welfare checks, counselling, free-cycling, and personal shopping, as well as simply being there for local families, the elderly, and anyone who feels isolated.

They also run a food bank from Albion Chambers, our former home, and we actively support their collections. If you'd like to donate or volunteer, we'd love to hear from you.
