Family Law Solicitor

Austin & Carnley are looking for a newly qualified Solicitor with experience in Family Law to join our growing firm. The successful candidate will:

 

· Have or be able to attract their own following, as well as the ability and drive to develop the Family Department and build workload quickly

 

· Possess strong active listening skills to accurately gauge client requirements

 

· Boast excellent negotiation skills to secure the best possible outcomes for our clients

 

· Have excellent verbal communication skills to effectively translate complex concepts into everyday language for non-experts

 

· Good writing skills to draft professional and accurate legal documents and reports

 

· Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to arrive at the best legal solutions for every case

 

· Have solid researching skills to conduct in-depth studies of previous cases and gather the necessary information for a case

 

· Good organisational skills to deal with a heavy workload and multiple simultaneous cases

 

· Have good knowledge of all Family law matters including divorce and separation, financial remedy, co-habitation, children matters, pre- and post-nuptial agreements and domestic violence is required

 

· Keeping up to date regarding new developments in the law

Marketing Assistant

Austin & Carnley are looking for an energetic, ideas driven individual to be our Marketing Assistant to provide vital support to the firm working across all areas of marketing.  You'll be involved in a wide variety of projects involving marketing materials, client care feedback, internal communications and events. The position demands a skilled, confident and dedicated all-rounder with the ability to work independently and as part of a busy team. You'll have outstanding attention to detail, strong initiative and the level head necessary to work under pressure.  We require a quick-witted, experienced individual who can hit the ground running.  

 

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken. Be a hard worker with commitment, dedication and initiative. Outstanding levels of organisation and attention to detail.  The creativity and confidence to introduce new ideas.  

 

Your responsibilities will include: 

 

  1. Preparing, formatting and editing a range of documents. 

 

  1. Understanding company services and brand. 

 

  1. Updating social media accounts and grow our following. 

 

  1. Collaborating with the Partners and internal teams on marketing strategy 

 

  1. Identify marketing trends and key opportunities for business development. 

 

  1. Working closely with all departments to ensure their marketing needs are being met. 

 

  1. Creating marketing materials such as case studies, presentations and articles. 

 

  1. Learning and working with various types of software for digital marketing. 

 

  1. Maintaining a marketing database. 

 

  1. Creating and interpreting a variety of reports. 

 

  1. Organising market research. 

 

  1. Analysing questionnaires and other forms of feedback. 

 

  1. General office duties. 

 

  1. Maintaining your time sheet daily.

Conveyancer / Solicitor

Austin & Carnley are actively seeking a qualified solicitor or chartered legal executive with at least 3 years’ post qualification experience to join our established and busy Conveyancing Team.  The successful candidate will have:

 

  • Expertise in a range of residential property transactions, including sales and purchases, freehold and leasehold, remortgages, shared-ownership, lease extensions and transfers.

 

  • Knowledge of commercial property transactions, to include planning, licensing, construction and promotion

 

  • Ability to work with a broad cross-section of clients, including property developers, investors, entrepreneurs, families and individuals

 

  • Experience working in a busy high volume conveyancing environment

 

  • A proven track record and drive to deliver an excellent client service.

 

  • The ability to build relationships with existing clients and business referees

 

  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, as well as working well as part of a team.
